Max Verstappen leads the Drivers’ Championship with 255 points, 84 ahead of Lando Norris and 105 ahead of Charles Leclerc. Red Bull Racing leads the Constructors’ Championship with 373 points, followed by Ferrari (302) and McLaren (295).

Previous race

At the British Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton took his first victory since the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix — his record ninth win at Silverstone and his 104th career race win. Hamilton became the first driver to win after his 300th race start. Verstappen finished second and Norris third.

Entrants

The driver and team line-up is unchanged from the season entry list. Oliver Bearman drives in the first free practice session for Haas, in place of Nico Hülkenberg.
